CLOWN-SO-PORT

At Clown-So-Port our mission is simple; because each clown is uniquely different than any other, we feel their performing shoes should be too.  That is why we custom-make each pair by hand, one pair at a time, to your exact specifications.  Many shoes have added accessories based on the customer’s needs.  Names, bows and kilties are all accessories to the shoes that are available for additional costs. Tracings and measurements MUST accompany each order.

HOW DO I MEASURE MY FEET?

TRACE AROUND BOTH FEET:

1.  Put the socks on that you intend to wear with the shoes.   2.  Sit down and scoot forward in the chair.  Bend your knee slightly forward.   3.  Have another person trace around your foot (see illustration A).  Please  do not trace your own foot because it is difficult to bend over and trace an accurate outline yourself.  4.  Use a soft lead pencil (not a pen) so markings will be black and clear.  5.  Trace one single line around the foot holding the pencil straight up and down at all times.  Do not tip the pencil under the foot at any point.  You will want to pay particular attention to this when tracing around the heel and instep. 6.  Please trace both feet and mark “left” and “right”. 7.  Please keep your foot in place for the following three measurements:

1. Directly behind ball of foot:

Place measuring tape right behind ball of foot (see Illustration 1.)  Pull the tape snugly around the foot.

Make a mark on the foot tracing exactly where the tape is placed (see Illustration 1A).  Record the circumference measurement (the number of inches around the foot).

This is extremely important.

2. The instep:

Place measuring tape around the instep (see Illustration 2).  Pull the tape snugly around the foot.

Mark on the foot tracing exactly where the tape is placed (see Illustration 2A).  Record the circumference measurement (the number of inches around the foot).

This is extremely important.

3. The base of your heel:

Place measuring tape around the base of the heel (see Illustration 3).  Pull the tape snugly around the foot.

Record the circumference measurement (the number of inches around the foot).

This is extremely important.
